The win was the 13th straight for the Warriors, marking the team’s longest winning streak of the season and matching the longest streak in the NBA this season, and Stephen Curry had everything to do with it, finishing the game with 42 points and 11 assists.
With Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala sitting out due to a planned rest after the team played at home on Tuesday, the two-time reigning MVP started off hot and kept it going for the entire game. Curry hit five of his first six shots, including each of his first four 3-point attempts. Curry wound up outscoring the Suns by himself in the first quarter, 23-18, and at one point he scored 19 straight points for the Dubs.
Now 65-14, the Dubs have three games left in the season, all of which will be played at home. The season-ending homestand tips off on Saturday when the Warriors host the Pelicans ( Find Tickets) in what will be the final Slate Night of the season.
