Seg\u00fan informes de prensa en Brasil, el Toronto FC ha ofrecido un contrato de tres a\u00f1os y 15 millones de d\u00f3lares por el delantero de River Plate, Santos Borre, seg\u00fan lo \u00faltimo de UOL Esporte, pero al parecer tambi\u00e9n se enfrentan a una dura competencia del club brasile\u00f1o Palmeiras, el actual campe\u00f3n de la Copa Libertadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Borre podr\u00eda extender su estad\u00eda en el club de la primera divisi\u00f3n argentina, por supuesto, aunque el colombiano de 25 a\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 interesado en mudarse a Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No es la primera vez que se vincula a Borre con el Toronto FC, por lo que ha habido pol\u00e9mica en torno a un traspaso de mucho dinero a los Rojos. Su contrato con River Plate tambi\u00e9n finalizar\u00e1 en junio de 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En caso de que Borre viniera a Toronto, traer\u00eda un curr\u00edculum del club estimado que incluye un pr\u00e9stamo al Villarreal mientras estaba en los libros del Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid. Se convirti\u00f3 en profesional en Deportivo Cali en su Colombia natal y ahora tiene 46 goles en 127 partidos en todas las competiciones para Los Millonarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Borre, quien tiene dos partidos con la selecci\u00f3n nacional de Colombia, le dar\u00eda a Toronto otro delantero de renombre junto a Jozy Altidore. Tambi\u00e9n tienen a una de las j\u00f3venes estrellas brillantes de la liga en Ayo Akinola, adem\u00e1s del mediocampista ofensivo Alejandro Pozuelo, el MVP de la MLS Landon Donovan 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toronto FC<\/a> have reportedly offered a $15 million, three-year contract for River Plate forward Santos Borre, according to the latest from UOL Esporte<\/a>, but they’re also reportedly facing stiff competition from Brazilian club Palmeiras, the reigning Copa Libertadores champions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Borre could extend his stay with the Argentine Primera Division powerhouse club, of course, though the 25-year-old Colombian is also reportedly keen on moving to Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
