Both teams struck the crossbar early on at Elland Road, including Edouard Mendy making a fingertip save on to the bar of Tyler Roberts’ shot on 16 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leeds lost Patrick Bamford to injury before half-time, while Mendy\u2019s opposite number Illan Meslier kept the hosts in the match, denying Antonio Rudiger and Mason Mount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meslier also kept out Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic early in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leeds had the better of the play and Mendy made the pick of the saves with a superb stop from Raphinha\u2019s shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chelsea stay fourth on 51 points, two behind Leicester City and three ahead of West Ham United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A first draw in 20 matches for Leeds keeps them 11th with 36 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
