U\u200bp to a quarter-inch of ice<\/a> has been reported in the Portland metro area. More than 80,000 homes and businesses<\/a> were without power in Oregon as of early Wednesday morning, according to poweroutage.us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n B\u200below is a look at the latest radar showing where the storm is producing snow, ice and rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n W\u200binter weather alerts have been issued by the National Weather Service: <\/strong>An ice storm warning is in effect for parts of southwestern Washington and northwestern Oregon until later today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n V\u200barious other winter weather alerts are in effect for snowfall from the Cascades into the northern and central Rockies. In general, the worst conditions will be in areas where winter storm warnings are in effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Snow from this storm will spread into the Midwest and East late this week: <\/strong>Indigo’s snowfall will persist in the northern Rockies through Wednesday night or Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A\u200bfter that, this storm could produce light to moderate snowfall in parts of the Midwest and Northeast Thursday into Friday.
