se localiz\u00f3 cerca de la latitud 18.1 Norte, longitud 109.0 Oeste.
Alvin se est\u00e1 moviendo hacia el nor-noroeste cerca de 10 mph (17
km\/h). Se espera un giro hacia el norte esta noche, y este
movimiento deber\u00eda continuar hasta el fin de semana.
Los vientos m\u00e1ximos sostenidos permanecen cerca de 50 mph (85 km\/h)
con r\u00e1fagas m\u00e1s fuertes. Se pronostica un debilitamiento, y se
espera que Alvin degenere a un remanente bajo el s\u00e1bado.
Los vientos con fuerza de tormenta tropical se extienden hacia fuera
hasta 140 millas (220 km) desde el centro.
La presi\u00f3n central m\u00ednima estimada es 1001 mb (29.56 pulgadas).
