Está previsto que Romain Grosjean sea dado de alta del hospital el martes, ya que sigue recibiendo tratamiento tras un dramático accidente en el Gran Premio de Baréin.
El francés se recupera de un gran accidente en la primera vuelta de la carrera del domingo. Fue trasladado rápidamente al hospital, donde los rayos X revelaron que había evitado sufrir fracturas, pero sí sufrió quemaduras en el dorso de ambas manos.
Habló con su jefe Guenther Steiner por teléfono el domingo por la noche y luego de nuevo cara a cara en el hospital el lunes por la mañana, y los dos tomaron la decisión de que se saltaría «al menos una carrera».
Grosjean continuará el tratamiento, que Haas dijo que «va bien», el lunes y verá el Gran Premio de Sakhir del domingo desde la banca mientras continúa su recuperación, con el piloto reserva Pietro Fittipaldi en su lugar.
El equipo estadounidense agregó: “Se prevé que será dado de alta del hospital el martes 1 de diciembre. Se darán más actualizaciones cuando haya información disponible «.

Romain Grosjean is set to be discharged from hospital on Tuesday as he continues to receive treatment after a dramatic crash in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Frenchman walked away from a huge crash on the opening lap of Sunday’s race. He was transferred swiftly to hospital, where X-rays revealed he had avoided suffering any fractures – but he did recieve burns on the back of both of his hands.

He spoke to his boss Guenther Steiner on the phone on Sunday night and then again face to face at the hospital on Monday morning, with the two making the decision he would skip “at least one race”.

Grosjean will continue treatment – which Haas said is «going well» – on Monday and watch Sunday’s Sakhir Grand Prix from the sidelines as he continues his recovery, with reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi subbing in for him.
The American team added: “It is anticipated he will be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday 1 December. Further updates will be given when information is available.”
