El joven Pitcher de los Miami Marlins Jose Fernandez murio este domingo en la madruagada en un accidente de bote, de acuerdo con fuentes del beisbol y de las autoridades Maritimas de la ciudad de Miami.

Fernandez de 24 años de edad, debía lanzar este domingo en el partido ante Atlanta, que fue cancelado.

Jose Fernandez fue elegido en la primera seleccion del draft del 2011, fue el novano del año de la liga nacional en el 2013.

La noticia de la muerte de Fernandez, a causa gran conmocion en la ciudad y en el ambiente deportido de todo el pais.

Segun informaciones preliminares al meenos 3 personas fallecieron en el accidente en el que el bote quedo partido en la mitad, dijeron las autoridades guaredacostas que lo encontraron en la zona de Government Cut en el Parque South Pointe.

Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was killed early Sunday in a boating crash, according to a baseball source.

Fernandez, 24, was originally scheduled to start Sunday, in what have been his likely final outing of the season.

Fernandez was the team’s first-round draft pick in 2011, was the National League rookie of the year in 2013. He was finishing up on his finest season in the majors.

The death leaves the team in shock. Along with outfield Giancarlo Stanton, he was the best player on the team and one of the top 10 in the leage.

At least three people are reportedly dead after a boat crash off Miami Beach on Sunday morning.

Emergency workers are searching for more victims near Government Cut and South Pointe Park.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded to the crash of the 30-foot boat.

“They found a boat that was up against the jetties,” Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Chief Todd Garofalo told WSVN. “They did do an initial search and they found three victims — two on top of the water, one underneath the boat and they had unfortunately passed away.”

On Saturday, three people were found dead near a raft 20 miles off Islamorada in the Keys.
