Sweden came from behind to inflict a first defeat on Group A leaders France, Ola Toivonen returning a loose clearance from goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with a first-time shot from the halfway line with the game’s final kick to win the points in memorable fashion. France had taken the lead eight minutes before half-time with a stunning strike from Olivier Giroud, the striker thumping a swerving shot inside the far post from the edge of the penalty area. Sweden swiftly levelled, Jimmy Durmaz – who, like Toivonen, plays his club football in France – slotting in with a composed finish, setting the stage for Toivonen’s late stunner that left the teams level on 13 points.

En ese grupo Holanda de la Mano de dick Advocaat en su tercera etapa como tecnico de la seleccion nacional, goleo 5-0 a Luxemburgo…goles de Arjenti Roben y Weslie Schneijder en el primer tiempo y de Wijnaldum, Promes y Janssen en el segundo tiempo completaron la goleada de Holanda que ahora salta al tercer lugar con 10 puntos.
