SSC Napoli is delighted to announce the signing of 24-year-old Mexico forward Hirving Lozano on a permanent transfer from PSV Eindhoven.
Lozano was born in Mexico City on 30 July 1995.
He made his professional debut for Pachuca in the Mexican top flight and scored 43 goals for the club across four seasons, winning a league title in 2016.
The winger joined PSV ahead of the 2017/18 campaign and spent two years in the Netherlands, winning the Eredivisie in his first season and racking up 45 goals in 83 appearances.
Lozano played at every youth level for Mexico and won the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in 2015, when he finished as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals.
He starred for Mexico at Russia 2018, grabbing the headlines with his goal against Germany in the opening match.
Lozano has 35 caps and nine goals for the senior Mexico team.
