During the Ottawa Senators vs. Florida Panthers game on Tuesday, Jaromir Jagr took a nice big shot to the mouth on a high stick from Alex Chiasson. The hit knocked out four of Jagr’s teeth.

After falling to the ice in a bloody mess, Jagr returned to the game and even joked about the incident afterwards. He told NHL.com, “I lost some teeth, but I increased my speed as you see it on the breakaway.”

Jagr’s jokes continued on social media.

Dear Santa, can I get a new teeth for Christmas 🙂 it’s going to be tough to eat-good -at least I don’t get fat :)))
