The Patriots controlled the Kansas City Chiefs in a 27-20 victory Saturday in the divisional round of the playoffs. With the result, the Patriots have booked their ticket to next Sunday’s AFC championship game against the winner of the game between the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers. It puts New England one victory away from a return trip to the Super Bowl.
The Patriots (13-4) are trying to become the first team to win back-to-back NFL titles since they did it in 2003-04. But first they will meet the winner of Sunday’s game between the Steelers and Broncos for a spot in Super Bowl 50.
