SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Tom Rowe announced today that the Panthers have agreed to terms with defenseman Keith Yandle on a seven-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled to have signed Keith to a multi-year contract,” Rowe said. “He is a highly skilled and experienced defenseman who will be a tremendous asset on our blueline and in our dressing room. We look forward to Keith’s contributions to our team both on the ice and in the South Florida community.”
The 29-year old Yandle recorded 47 points (5-42-47) in 82 games with the Rangers in the 2015-16 season and registered one goal in five postseason games. Yandle’s 47 points led all Rangers defenseman, while he led the team with 42 assists and finished tied for first on the team in power-play points (22).

Inicialmente Berra fue seleccionado St. Louis Blues en la cuarta ronda del draft del 2006.
SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Tom Rowe announced today that the Panthers have acquired goaltender Reto Berra from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for forward Rocco Grimaldi.
The 29-year old Berra posted a 5-8-0 record in 14 games with the Avalanche during the 2015-16 season, while recording a 2.41 goals against average, .922 save percentage and two shutouts. Berra recorded a 7-7-0 record with a 3.39 goals against average and .901 save percentage in 16 games with Colorado’s American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound native of Bulach, Switzerland has posted a 19-30-4 record, 2.82 goals against average, .906 save percentage and three shutouts in 64 career games with Colorado (2013-16) and Calgary (2013-14).
Berra was originally selected by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (106th overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft.
