After a strong surge to take the lead just before the 41-kilometer mark, Kenenisa Bekele of Ethiopia won the Berlin Marathon on Sunday in 2:03:03. The time was 6 seconds off Dennis Kimetto’s world record of 2:02:57, set in Berlin in 2014. Former world record holder Wilson Kipsang was second in 2:03:13, a personal best that’s 10 seconds faster than the world mark he set in Berlin in 2013.
In the women’s race, Aberu Kebede of Ethiopia won her third Berlin title in 2:20:45. Ethiopian women also placed second (Birhane Dibaba, 2:23:58) and third (Ruti Aga, 2:24:41).

En la rama femenina Aberu Kebede de Etipia logro su tercer titulo en Berlion con tiempo de 2 horas 20 minutos y 45 segundos. etiopia domino el podium con Birhane Dibaba y Ruti Aga que terminaron segunda y tercera respectivamente….
