Mohamed Salah scored two second-half goals, taking his tally to 17 for the season, as Liverpool came from behind to beat Leicester City 2-1 at Anfield.
Claude Puel’s visitors took the lead in the third minute, with Jamie Vardy netting for the seventh time in five matches against the Reds.
But Liverpool responded strongly, Salah going close three times and Sadio Mane having a goal disallowed before the break.
Salah’s equaliser eventually arrived in the 52nd minute and, after Mane had had another strike ruled out, the Egyptian notched a 76th-minute winner, moving one goal behind Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane at the top of the goalscoring chart.
Liverpool remain fourth in the table while Leicester stay eighth.

Pero Liverpool saco casta y remonto en el segundo tiempo, a los 52 Mane con la asistencia y Salah con definicion de pierna izquierda dentro del area para igualar 1-1. a los 76 fue Milner quien lo asistio y de nuevo el egipcio definio a la izquerda de Schmichel para el 2-1, quedando a un gol del maximo artillero de la liga Harry Kane.
Liverpool conversa el cuarto lugar de la general con 41 puntos a 4 del segundo Chelsea y a 3 del tercero Manchester United.
