World No. 1 Novak Djokovic raised his game Saturday to overcome the challenge of rising Australian teenager Thanasi Kokkinakis, beating the 19 year old 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the Roland Garros fourth round.
While Andy Murray was dispatching another Australian young gun Nick Kyrgios on Court Suzanne Lenglen, Djokovic dismissed Kokkinakis in one hour and 49 minutes. The Serb hit 34 winners to just 12 unforced errors as he claimed the pair’s first meeting.
