Dub Nation has turned Warriors Ground into one of the most intimidating environments in all of professional sports, and now there is an NBA record to back that up. Thursday’s 121-106 win over the Thunder was the 44th straight home win for the Dubs, tying the all-time longest home winning streak in league history.

Curry finished the game with a game-high 33 points, Klay Thompson added 21 and both Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes added 14 points. Livingston had a solid game off the bench with 11 points and Speights provided a spark with 10 points, on 4-of-5 shooting, and perhaps the game’s best assist when he lasered a length-of-the-court pass to Green for a dunk in the third quarter.

Now 55-5 on the season, the Warriors will have a few days off before visiting the Lakers on Sunday afternoon. After that, the Dubs are back in the Bay on Monday to host the Magic with a chance to make more history on Warriors Ground.

The Bulls won 44 consecutive home games from March 30, 1995, until April 4, 1996. That helped them set the record with 72 wins in 1995-96, a mark the Warriors remain on pace to surpass after beating the Thunder for the third time in as many tries this season.
