Javier Chicharito Hernandez anotó por tercer partido consecutivo, ayudando a su equipo Bayer 04 leverkusen a conquistar su primera victoria en casa sobre el Borussia Dortmund desde mayo del 2007.
Leverkusen tuvo un arranque brillante con Chicharito obligando a una salvada espectacular del portero Roman Burki. hasta que al minuto 10, Admir Mehmedi le metio cabeza al asunto despues de unntiro de esquina para el 1-0 del Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Borussia Dortmund, intento con llegadas esporadicas especialmente con Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang y Ousmane Dembele, pero fue Kevin Kampl, quien estuvo ma cerca de ampliar en la primera mitad.
Dortmund tuvo la mas clara a los 72 minutos para probar de forma seria y categorica al portero Bernd Leno a travez de Aubameyang.
7 minutos mas tarde fue Hakan Calhanoglu quien genero el futbol con un centro preciso para que Javier Chicharito Hernandez, asegurara la victoria, 2-0.

Leverkusen made the brighter start and after Chicharito forced a sprawling save from Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki, Admir Mehmedi rose highest to head home the ensuing corner. BVB threatened sporadically on the counter through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele, but it was Bayer midfielder Kevin Kampl who went closest to adding his name to the scoresheet with a fierce drive that grazed the side-netting.
Trailing at half-time for the first time this season, Dortmund had to wait until the 72nd minute to seriously test Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno, with Aubameyang’s low strike saved more by luck rather than judgement. BVB were seeing far more of the ball, but one electric Leverkusen counter put paid to the visitors’ hopes of getting something from the game as Chicharito met Hakan Calhanolgu’s cross from close range to seal the win.
