Exactamente 5 meses despues que Las Vegas fueran elegida como la ciudad para terner equipo de expansión, el propietario del equipo Bill Foley anuncio el nombre y revelo el logo del equipo este marttes en la Toshiba Place, justo en la parte exterior de la T-Mobile Arena donde los Golden Knights comenzaran a jugar en la temporada 2017-18.
Las Vegas Golden Knighs son el primer equipo de expansion desde que que ingresaran Columbus Blue Jackets y Minnesotta Wild en el 2001-01.
«Nuestro logotipo y nuestro nombre realmente van a exhibir el elemento más alto de la clase guerrera – el caballero», dijo Foley. «El caballero protege a los desprotegidos, el caballero defiende el reino, el caballero nunca se rinde, nunca se rinde, siempre avanza, nunca se retira, y eso es lo que nuestro equipo va a ser».

Exactly five months after Las Vegas was awarded an expansion team, owner Bill Foley announced the name and revealed the team logo Tuesday at Toshiba Place, just outside of T-Mobile Arena, where the Golden Knights will begin play in the 2017-18 season.
Before making the annoucement, Foley told the crowd what the name and logo would represent.
«Our logo and our name is really going to exhibit the highest element of the warrior class – the knight,» Foley said. «The knight protects the unprotected. The knight defends the realm. The knight never gives up, never gives in, always advances, never retreats, and that’s what our team is going to be.»
Las Vegas was awarded a franchise on June 22. It is the first expansion team since the Columbus Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild each joined the League in 2000-01.
