OTTAWA — The Florida Panthers moved one point from an Eastern Conference wild card with a 7-2 win against the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre.

James Reimer made 33 saves for the Panthers (37-27-7), who are 11-2-1 in their past 14 games and trail the New Jersey Devils by one point for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs with two games in hand.

In one of their best offensive performances of the season, the Florida Panthers had seven different skaters light the lamp in a 7-2 route of the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre on Tuesday night.

Colton Sceviour, Keith Yandle, Evgenii Dadonov, Jared McCann, Frank Vatrano, Nick Bjugstad and Jamie McGinn all scored for the Panthers, who moved within one point of New Jersey for the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Florida (37-27-7) has a game in hand on the Devils, who play tonight in San Jose.
