The Warriors started the second half of the NBA season on a strong note, beating the Chicago Bulls 146-109. It was a team effort in this one: seven Dubs combined to hit 18 treys, every starter had an assist, and each member of the squad had at least three points and one rebound. The win gave the Warriors their third straight win and fifth in their last six games.

All Warriors starters scored in the first 10 minutes of the game, and the team led this one from start to finish. Golden States’ bigs were active early; Draymond Green ended the first quarter with five rebounds and three assists, while Kevon Looney chipped in with four rebounds and two assists of his own. Klay Thompson got off to an especially hot start, finishing the first quarter with 11 points and hitting his first three 3-point attempts on the team’s first three possessions, guiding the Warriors to a 43-17 lead over Chicago at the end of the period. It marked the team’s eighth 40-point quarter this season, one of those coming from their previous meeting with the Bulls on October 29th.
