LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The Miami Heat started hot in Game 2, then turned cold and looked like they might get run out of the gym by the Boston Celtics.
It was similar to Game 1 when Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said the Celtics «were kicking our (expletive).»
Miami overcame a 17-point deficit, walloped Boston in the third quarter and closed out the fourth for a 106-101 victory on Thursday. And now the Celtics are in trouble, down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference finals.
The Heat outscored the Celtics 37-17 in the third quarter when Bam Adebayo took over, scoring 15 of his 21 points, and then rallied from 94-89 deficit in the final four minutes.
